
MEC promotes David White to President of Manufacturing Division
SELMA, CA, Oct. 15, 2008 --- David White has been appointed President of California Manufacturing and Engineering Company, which manufactures MEC Aerial Work Platforms and Telescopic Handlers that are marketed worldwide by MEC Aerial Work Platform Sales Corp.
Mr. White joined MEC Aerial Work Platforms in February 2005 as Engineering Manager and was later promoted to Director of Engineering and Operations. He previously served as Senior Vice President of Global Engineering for UpRight, Inc., when it was producing a full line of Aerial Work Platforms, Material Handling equipment, and Scaffolding for the Construction and Rental Industries.
Mr. White earned his BSME degree from Fresno State University and is a Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of California. . He is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Tau Beta Pi National Honorary Mechanical Engineering Society and the American National Standards Institute.
